“totally loved it”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

I have been walking there for almost 3 hours and I loved every minute of it! It is such an amazing and well maintained spot! I think everybody who visits Puerto Rico should see it. They charge only 3 dollars which was totally worth it, if they would have charged 10 I also would have payed it!

“A Must See”
Reviewed December 30, 2011

This fort is amazing and very large. We didn't listen to one review that suggested you take water, sunscreen and a hat, but we should have. Also, not a trip for someone that doesn't walk well or have the ability to climb a lot of stairs. Wear comfy shoes and Dry Fit clothing!

“Great historical site in Old San Juan”
Reviewed December 29, 2011

Lots of history here. And a bunch of displays on life in the fort, etc. The views are almost as good as El Morro, and the tunnels and dungeon are even better. Wish we could have caught the hour+ long tunnels tour offered here by the National Park Rangers. Buy the pass for El Morro and San Cristobal together for only $5, definitely worth every penny.

“Nice location”
Reviewed December 29, 2011

Enjoyed walking around the fort walls, views of the city and ocean were great. This fort was included in our port cruise excursion. Unsure what the National Park Service (NPS) charges for admission.
