“A Walk through History”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

The gate is not very ornate but the surrounding information shows that this was the entrance to the city.

“A must photo op”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

If you can, come in the EARLY AM or at sunset, so you can enjoy the walkway around El Morro. It maybe a tad too warm to do in the late AM or early Afternoon... really Hot with no sun protection. But the Gate is a must see, if only to walk out and take photos and enjoy the views.. which are spectacular.

This is a place you may want to visit to have a better understanding on the Colonial period in the Americas... Bring comfortable shoes to walk around the Morro trail... Beautiful !
