We spent most of a day in Old San Juan while stopped there on a Carnival cruise. Beautiful architecture and colors, narrow cobblestone streets, and many, many stores. Everything from clothes to art to souvenirs and trinkets. Look for a small, steep pedestrian only street named Calle de Hospital. My 9 year old son had more fun there taking photos of the beautiful stray cats! And PLEASE, search out Cafe Puerto Rico and have the mofongo relleno. You will thank me!
