Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown Old San Juan. We stayed in a Jr. Suite that was super clean and decorated beautifully. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Read a lot of mixed reviews for this place and often decide to judge for myself. This place is wonderful, staff super friendly and helpful. We had a king suite in the south building and our friends had a queen in the north. The elevator didn't work in the south which was the single issue because we had to carry our luggage up and down stairs. Other than that, i would most definitely stay there again.

While this hotel appears quaint from pictures and reviews, it really looks like a quirky mish mosh of newer and out of date/beat up combined. The overall décor appears to have some pieces/parts updated but other old, tired unattractive parts have been left. The room was very small. Had a tiny "balcony" room that overlooked damaged rooftops and air conditioners. The lobby, restaurant/bar is in such a tiny space, guests getting on the elevator are almost on top of diners. I gave it a 3 because the staff is very enthusiastic, welcoming and helpful and the location is good if you want to walk around old San Juan.

The hotel is quaint and located in old San Juan. The lobby was quite spectacular but when we were assigned our room the room did not have windows that we could see out of. The place was quite clean but everything was very tired and does require at least some degree of modernization. Because of the lack of windows and the claustrophobic feeling we encountered we cancelled our return stay which we had scheduled after the completion of our cruise

Room tip: enquire about outside windows

This hotel from the reservation to the stay was above expectations!! The customer service when booking the reservation and then adding additional days, asking for an early check in was completed with no problems at all. Very friendly emails and customer service. Upon arrival we loved the look of the hotel! We spent 4 wonderful nights there and are looking forward to going back next year. We had the superior suite which included a king size bed and an adjoining room with twin beds -perfect for traveling with family. The balcony was an added delight. I am a diabetic and as there was no fridge in the room they kept my insulin in a fridge and I was able to obtain it every morning. Such service and always with a smile. The cleanliness and elevator were added bonuses. This hotel should be rated much much higher that it is! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Room tip: Superior Suite is fabulous!! with a balcony!
