We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our trip in late July and on the final night of our trip in early August, and it was fantastic. As other reviewers have mentioned, customer service here was excellent. Thanks, Miguel, for your dining recommendations and help when we first arrived! And thank you to the rest of the staff for everything during our visit. Our first room was 4G, which was not in the front of the building. It had a large balcony that overlooked the city to the east--really great place to have a drink and watch the sun fade over the city. The room wasn't big, but it was very pretty and extremely comfortable. It had everything you'd want in a boutique hotel--great bed, nice towels, good shower, privacy. Our room the last night was 2A, which was on the front street. It shared a balcony with the room next door overlooking the street. It was raining, so we didn't really use the balcony much, but the view was neat, as were the old-fashioned doors and windows looking out. Again, very comfortable room. We were worried, because the room next to us seemed to have a bunch of little kids moving into it, but after they finished moving their things in from the hall, we never really heard them. If we return to San Juan, we'll definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We really liked room 4G. Definitely get a room with a balcony!

This is a very nice, quaint hotel. Beautifully designed lobby and the service was absolutely amazing! Each room had a tablet that can be used for room service or even your own personal use! The hotel included access to the roof which had roof top tubs and a beautiful view of Old San Juan. The location is perfect with walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops and attractions! The front lobby also provided coupons to the local restaurants for free coffee or mimosas! Very nice and romantic place to stay.

Room Tip: Balcony Queen room has a view!

We found this place everything we wanted and more! It was well located in San Juan, great price, room size was fairly good too, and absolutely fantastic customer service! The people working at the front desk and small restaurant were ultra friendly and so helpful! Nothing was too much. There is also tablets in each room where you can request cleaning of your room at a specific time or more supplies etc. All adding to the experience!

We had read some of the previous reviews about no elevator but there is one now installed which easily takes you to your floor or the top floor for the quirky bath tubs and city views.

Would definitely stay there again and huge thanks to the staff for your help and your big smiles everyday!

I stayed with my 10yr old son for 4 days. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. (Even helping me find local parking when I checked in at 3am) They were prompt to solve any issues (we accidentally locked our car keys in the room safe)
The rooms were beautifully appointed, well stocked and clean. We especially appreciated the extra usb charging hubs for all our electronics.
The rooftop baths were so nice and quiet. What a great view of the castle and skyline.
I would definitely reccomend this hotel for couples or families. So much to do within walking distance and the staff will helpnyoubfind anything you need.

Beautifully designed and operated hotel. Incredibly friendly staff, and very comfortable rooms. Right in the heart of Old San Juan, walk to anything; there is a small restaurant downstairs (although we didn't eat there, so I cant review its quality) but based on the rest of the establishment, I'm sure it's delicious.
