A jewell in the Old San Juan. Great food, great ambience, great service in a very nice place. They make you feel at home. This is a place you must visit.

Stopped here for lunch during our day in Old San Juan. It was quite busy however well worth the wait. I had the lunch special which included the Quiche of thebDay and 1/2 sandwich. I chose the Gabriela - avocado, green apple and brie - would never have come up with that combination on my own but it was fantastic!

Everthing here was exceptional and very fresh. I had the Romano Salad my huband the Quiche. The Cerviche was lovely. Have the ginger lemonade or the fresh mango agua fresca.

First, the food is good. Our primary server was friendly. It's kind of an interesting atmosphere. The Brie and mushroom soup was excellent. However, the wait was much longer than they suggested it would be. Now they did bring us some lemonade as we waited in the hot sun for a table, which was good. They simply forgot the appetizer we ordered and went straight to our main course. They brought two mojitos with our food but didn't bring a glass of wine until later. The server was also managing seating which was really busy. A number of people seemed unhappy about the service. We live in PR so are used to slow meals, which is kinda of the norm. However, this seems more due to disorganization and being unstaffed than relaxed and unhurried. Overall the food is pretty simple but very good but the service and general frantic dealings with people arriving stop me from giving it 4 stars.
