“Fun few hour getaway!”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

We went on the Campo Rico half day morning zip lining tour on 12/31/13. It took about 30 minutes from the Marriot Stellaris to get there as we picked up other tourists. Our tour guides were Ivan, Jorge, and Goss. They were very professional and fun! Be prepared to get muddy (head to toe) and while you want shoes with which you can climb rocks and walk through the wilderness, you may not want to keep them afterwards. Our tour lasted about 3 hours and while we have been on longer and higher zip lines, it still gives you the adrenaline rush and experience. The rice, beans, and chicken dish at the end was also delicious. The best rice and beans that I had on the trip! Unlike other tours, you are allowed to take pictures and videos so bring a camera! The best thing about going on the morning tour half day tour is that we had this great adventure and were still back in time to rest on the beach!

“Evening ZipLine Tour”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Our family of four went on the evening tour at Campo Rico ziplining. They picked us up at San Juan Marriott around 3 pm. The location is about 20 minutes from San Juan. After a quick orientation we were ziplining. The guides were excellent and the experience was a lot of fun. Couple of pointers; there is fair amount of hiking and climbing involved so make sure you have a good pair of shoes; also bring your bug spray as it does help; we were the only ones in our group with no bug bites. also bring your camera as you can actually take videos while you are ziplining. Also they have coupons on their website; make sure you print them and use them while making the reservation and paying.

“Great ziplining and hiking!”
Reviewed January 1, 2014 via mobile

This was such a fun day. We went with my parents, and four of us in our twenties. We all had a great time and agreed this was a highlight of our adventure filled two week Puerto Rican trip.

The guides are great. They explain everything really well beforehand and spoke very clear English. They were fun too.

The zip lines were great. Not too scary and stunning views. There is some moderate hiking between zip lines and a few suspended bridges to cross.

There's a fun "typical Puerto Rican" meal after and a bar to get drinks. The food is fun with rice and beans, breaded chicken, a little fruit and a bread fruit that tastes like a plantain.

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone! The atvs looked fun too but I'm much happy we chose ziplining instead.

“San Salvadore Trip - Incredible!”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

My sister, adult daughter and I wanted to experience a rainforest in Puerto Rico so we chose EcoQuest's San Salvadore adventure including rappelling and zip lining. We chose the perfect company to take us. The company is wonderful and planning easy, even from stateside (just call; they are in the Sprint network). There were just 5 of us total and the guides (Wili and Jose') couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful (including local travel and restaurant advice). They picked us up at our respective hotels as planned and talked us through the equipment and what to expect. This is truly a privilege as well as an adventure; it is on private land in a lush forest with many gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes. We walked up river, over and up wet rocks to experience the river and the forest. The guides were always there to help and watching out for our safety. I felt that the equipment and the adventure course was well maintained and the guides were very experienced. The homemade dinner at a local home was delicious and a perfect end to the day.

Rappelling down an 80' waterfall and zip lining through the vegetation is an adventure I will never forget and want to repeat. This is not an easy hike; but an experience hard to duplicate and very exciting. If you are an active person who likes the outdoors, doesn't mind getting wet and dirty, are in reasonable shape with reasonably good balance, you will love it!

“Ziplining fun”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

Our family of four, two adults and two sons in their early 20s, did the 7 zipline tour. It was a lot of fun and the guides were great - very personable and helpful, calling us by name and making us comfortable with every part of the experience. Friendly and gracious and patient with any nervousness we had. We paid for the shuttle service and they were on time and the driver shared interesting information during the ride. When we got to the location, after paperwork, we were all outfitted with gear. The explanation before we started was enough information but not too long; safety was stressed and at no time did we feel unsafe.

This tour is not for the faint of heart - there are several ladders to climb and high platforms, in addition to the wood slat bridges. But we used our safety lines when we crossed the bridges and stood waiting on platforms. Even with a full group of 30 the waits were never overly long.

The meal at the end was nothing to write home about, pork with rice and beans, plantains, and canned pineapple. There were no bugs the day we visited. They had basic bathrooms at the start and end and vending machines at the office with snacks, drinks, bug spray and some other "essentials."
