“This restaurant deserves a higher rating!”

I don't understand the negative reviews; the food was very good and the service was excellent and highly professional. The seafood offerings are very well prepared, and their Italian dishes are as good as anybody"s. One of the best sauces I've had in over 30 years of Caribbean travel.

“OK, but not worth the money”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

This place was interesting...Unlike most places in San Juan, we felt a little out of place since we spoke a small amount of Spanish. All the waiters are in there 60's at least. I did like the old world feel of it...all orders are hand written (no computers).
We sat in the bar area as apraently you need reservations at this place.
We ordered the seafood Paella (we each got one...but could be split if you have appetizers) and were disappointed. The look was great as it was served with a half lobster, but most of the seafood (except the calamari which was done to perfection) was overcooked. At $30 per plate, just not worth it.
We did start out with the Jamon and queso plate...this was good as long as you like cured meats. We decided to try something else and got the camarones y papa ensalad...TERRIBLE. Most of the salad was peas that tasted frozen and the shrimp were small and again tasted frozen...overall it lacked flavor all together.

Our bill for the night with tip was over $120...not worth the money AT ALL!!!!

“Excellent seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Our Pharma Team loves this restaurant, we eat here once a month and have never been disappointed. Reservations are recommended. While Atlantica restaurant is situated ok, do not walk to here or venture outside of the Carolina/Isle Verde area, it is a rough area. The grouper ceviche is an excellent appetizer, the Rosemount chardonnay is a good value to accompany your fish entrees. The bar area is nice, but typically quite crowded and will be extremely loud when full. The grilled fish entree will not disappoint, it is a team favorite.

“Fabulous restaurant”

Quiet little restaurant with phenomenal seafood and great wine list. We had such a wonderful dinner and it was more reasonable than any of the restaurants in Isle Verde.
