The address should be Triump Plaza, Humacao, Puerto Rico. This is a recently opened restaurant located besides Ralph Food Warehouse (supermarket). It specializes in Puerto Rican "criolla" food. It is kind of a fast food style restaurant, with a drive thru service. As the name states, mofongo (smashed fried green plantains) is the house speciality. It can be served as a complement mainly to the churrasco (skirt steak), carne frita (fried pork), or pollo (chicken). Other complements besides the mofongo are the arroz con habichuelas (white rice and beans), tostones (fried green plantains), arroz mamposteao (rice with beans), papas fritas (fries), or platanos maduros (fried plantains). Been here a couple of times and I most say that it's worth the price. They serve an excellent mofongo. I paid around $18 for two services of carne frita with mofongo, each one with a drink. You should try the sopa de platanos maduros (plantains soup) as an appetizer. The service was excellent. From the owners to the servers, everyone was courteous and amicable. The doors open around 11am and close around 9 pm seven days a week. Plenty of parking space right in front of the restaurant.
