Enjoy a beautiful beach with a Red Stripe in hand! The blue waters of the ocean meet with one of the many rivers on the island to give you a refreshing break from the hot temperatures of the Jamaican sun on your skin.

This beach is not only one of the most beautiful in Jamaica, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Worth a two hour drive all the way from Kingston just to spend the day there. There is a beautiful clear water stream that runs into the sea and it is lovely to swim in it. This place is like paradise.

This is the perfect place to just lay down, read a book, have a beer and every now and then get into the beautiful water. If I go back to Jamaica, this will be the spot for most of my reading hours.

It was in november 2008. Some things might have changed.

This beach is absolutely fabulous. It is scenic as the sea and the river meets. The sand is refined but the water is very wavy and rough. If you go in the water, you spend the time jumping waves instead of swimming which becomes annoying.
There is also a river which runs adjacent to the sea. The river is cool and provides for good swimming and relaxation. Frenchmans Cove entrance fee is expensive and one cannot take food or drink onto the beach which is a disappointment. The beach is wonderful and a must go.
