First of all, this 3-bedroom Villa on the cliffs is beautiful! My husband and I stayed here for the last three days of our honeymoon, 11/25-11/28. It's quite the drive past the lighthouse on the West End, but it made it all the more peaceful. We were welcomed by our Butler/Chef, Delkia, and our Housekeeper, Rose, with cool wash cloths for our face and coconut water; what a way to start our stay! We stayed in the Master Suite, equipped with a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub that overlooked the ocean, a walk-in shower, his and her sinks, a private bathroom, and two closets. The AC unit in the master bedroom worked very well and a ceiling fan was also available for use. We spent a lot of time on our master balcony playing games and listening to music, or laying on the lounger, listening to the ocean. We could hear the waves at night while we slept too; it was pretty loud but relaxing nonetheless. We opted for dinner our first night there and breakfast the following morning; let me tell you, Delkia can COOK!!! She cooked the best meals we had on our honeymoon by far. Her jerk salmon with mango salsa, rice and peas, and baked banana with vanilla ice cream were out of this world! We were ready to take her back to the states with us, lol. We thoroughly enjoyed her ackee and saltfish, callaloo, french toast, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea for breakfast. Rose was so sweet and kept our room immaculate, and provided us with a vapor bar to keep the mosquito's away at night; those mosquito's were vicious! For our last night there, Delkia and Rose served us curry chicken, rice and peas, wine and dessert, cliffside next to one of the two caves on property. Followed by dinner was a drawn bubble bath with roses and candles; this was definitely the highlight of our stay. Do note that the staff will leave early if you decide to have dinner off property; this didn't bother us as it granted us more privacy. Security walked the property every night from 9pm-6am and maintenance lives on property in a cottage next to the road. None of the staff were intrusive and left us to ourselves. We spent time in the pool and hot tub, exploring both caves, and watching tv in the living room, which comes stocked with it's own share of games as well. The only time we left the property was for dinner our second night there; Delkia will call the restaurant and arrange pickup for you if you tell her where you want to go, however, not every restaurant offers free-pickup. Though it did rain quite a bit, it did not dampen our stay at all because we had so much to do. We love this villa and miss it already. The next time we come, we will definitely be bringing more people!
