Just finished a 2 week holiday and thought the hotel and staff were amazing. Jonnor and phillip,vaughanand wilton from the main pool made us feel so welcome and they worked so hard to keep it clean. Alicia from the dips bar brought us drinks and was so pleasant. Thankyou all for such an amazing holiday we will definitely be back

I have just come back from the best 2 week holiday at the Royalton, Jamaica! Food and the entertainment was outstanding, everyone was so friendly and made the holiday such a great experience! especially all the staff, they were fantastic!- Owayne at the pool bar and Traye in the The vibe team especially, as we got to know them more and they are just so friendly & made an effort to make us have the best time!! Will definitely be returning :-)

[RESUBMITTED REVIEW]

The property overall was large and attractive. Great pools, great beach, great evening entertainment. Good food!

We booked with the Diamond Club and lucked out with a great butler, George (although the different butlers do not all provide the same level of service).

We also received great support from a Guest Services rep named Sashique. She truly went above and beyond while we were dealing with some medical concerns for our little one during our stay.

Where this resort fell short however was with the service. It was hit or miss, depending on who you got. Some staff were great, others not so much.

And the biggest complaint we had was with the quality and state of our room. Our room was not ready for us until past 5pm on our day of arrival and we had just traveled with two young children including a baby who needed to get to bed. Once we finally got the room we had to wait even longer for our luggage to be delivered and then again for the crib we had requested to arrive. As we were waiting for these items to arrive we found a half-eaten apple under one of the beds in the room, a used hairpin on a table, a string on the floor. The mini fridge was wobbly as it was missing a leg. Many of the drawers in the room fell forward if you tried to pull them out. And worst of all there was an incredible musty smell in the room that only dissipated if we turned off the air conditioning and left the balcony door open. Even overnight our damp swimsuits would not dry if left to hang inside the room.

Unfortunately we were dealing with our baby's illness so that took priority during our stay but when we shared our feedback with the resort after our return home the individual who replied implied we fabricated the apple under the bed which further dampened our experience.

We will unfortunately not choose to stay here again as a result.

Room tip: Diamond Club buildings 1 and 2 are far from the restaurants.

My family & I went for the Holidays. A total of nine family members. The reception desk was not friendly at all, nor helpful. From checking in to checking out & all else in between. Our room smelled like mold & half the time the air conditioning would not work. Only received cleaned towels & a refilled mini bar when cash & a note was left. Felt unsafe after 3 days into our 8 day stay our grandson & girlfriend which are 21 & 20 were confronted & push by a grounds worker. We then traveled in groups only. Worst experience ever.

Our hosts receive continuous customer service training to ensure they are able to maintain the standard of service which we strive to provide. The resort is fabulous! Clean and comfortable rooms, many restaurants and bars!The beach is more then perfect- clean blue water, calm and cool. I recommend this hotel to everyone- it is the best place in Jamaica!
