we had a great time at villa sur mer with our young kiddos (ages 1 & 3) the rooms are wonderful!! this is a very clean, updated, safe, and BEAUTIFUL spot! We took advantage of the baby sitting service and our kids LOVED the sitter. And at only $10 an hour, you can’t beat that. We were able to take advantage of Ricks cafe, which is literally right across the street, without the babies for a day! We stayed in Jamaica (hopping around the island) for a total of 3 weeks in February, Villas Sur Mer was probably the “easiest” place for our family, because it very similar to an American-like hotel. All the normal amenities that you would see back in the states, plus GORGEOUS LUSH greenery, a sweet lagoon style pool, and they even have a cave you can walk down to see some serious ocean waves (definitely NOT for the kiddos, though lol) Everyone that worked there was incredibly friendly and helpful! They let us borrow snorkel equipment for a day free of charge. I loved the room! We stayed in a two bedroom villa. The beds were super comfortable, and they had free WiFi. You could hook up to Netflix/Hulu to watch movies on either of the two TVs. And I loved the hammock and the swing!! This is an awesome spot ! Can’t wait to return!

I had a absolutely lovey relaxing time. I enjoyed being a way from the traffic of the beach. The cottage that I was upgraded to was amazing, I was able to meditate in the sitting room and relax and read on the veranda.

It great for relaxing and a romantic get away.

The manager was very accommodating she had a very pleasant and down to earth personality such a sweet heart. I hate to say that I forgot her name. I have been traveling to Jamaica for over 20 years I have to say she was the most gracious host that I have ever met.

The cottages were nice however, there was no hot water even after several attempts to having it fixed. My family had to take a shower in another cottage. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were nice.
