After years of visiting Jamaica, we finally found our tropical paradise Villa. Villas Sur mer located in Negril is a must see place. It just simply takes your breath away. The landscape has flowing tropical trees that dress each well maintained cottage on the property. The pool is surrounded by these magnificent rocks that are draped with tropical greenery. There is a hot tub next to the pool area that is to die for after a busy day in town. Did I mentioned there is a well stocked bar and a bartender that is on duty to attend to your entertainment needs? You must also visit the Lagoon on the Villa. I took a beach towel; sat on the rock's in the cave and watched the water brush against them and just lost myself into tranquility. I don't think I would have enjoyed this so much at this Villa if it had not been for the staff on the premises as well. . Everyone is so engaging, friendly and helpful. You can feel at ease with everything including your valuables in your room. They make sure you have what you need too. You don't need to go far for wonderful entertainment and dinning either. Across the street from Villas Sur Mer is the famous Rick's Cafe' and on the left of Rick's are some wonderful pubs and venders for the best local foods on the Island. If you need advice on where to eat, the property manager is well informed and can give you some awesome spots to dine. We tried all of her suggestions and was not disappointed at all.. Plus, she is always available. If I had to make a suggestion on improvement, I honestly can't think of any except bring your mosquito repellent and don't depend on Wi-Fi to work. Otherwise, the staff on the premises are there to make sure that you are comfortable and most of all safe. My regret is that I hate to leave. Two weeks is definitely not enough to enjoy all of the beauty and amenities that Villas Sur Mer offers. I will make it my business to stay longer next year.

I've been traveling to Jamaica my entire life. Having visited Negril many times, it is the first experience stating in the cliffs. It was peaceful and relaxing to escape the harassment and people on the beach.
I don't have many complaints about Villa Sur Mer. The property is gorgeous! Maintained and groomed every morning by inviting and friendly staff. The hotel itself is very boutique and charming. Everyone there is extremely accommodating and the management really helped making our stay memorable. Activities like massage and home cooked breakfast can be organized on the grounds which made me feel at home.
The villas are beautiful and well furnished. There is also free wifi which is available almost everywhere on the property.
A major strong point would definitely be the sense of security I felt staying at Villa Sur Mer. I was able to leave my door open or unlocked and didn't have to worry about anything being stolen.
Right across the street is a cool, old school German pub where you can watch breathtaking sunsets and enjoy a tropical drink. We can usually find the general manager of the hotel hanging there in the morning having a coffee. She really loves what she does and will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at home.
Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this spot. I spent two weeks here and only wish I can stay more.

Was here for like 3 days or so... The WiFi at out room never worked, the TV didn't at one point too and there was no hot water. I think because of the rush of the season why all these problems occured.. However they have a breath taking cave view that made up for all that had happen and the pool. Omg.. I fell asleep under the cool trees by the pool. Very beautiful place and the staff made us feel at home... I loved it here.. And it's just a few seconds away from Ricks Cafe
