In the highly touristic city of Negril there are only a few local restaurants. We were quite disappointed in this lack of choice, as the hotels and touristy restaurants were very expensive and often offered only a very similar and limited choice. However, Pressa one love made up for this bigtime. The staff is friendly, the food is always good and the prices are half that of the uninspired hotel restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant just fifty meters from hotel Samsara.

Stayed at Samsara on the European plan and found this gem steps away, across the street. Pressa One Love offers delicious breakfasts from $5-10 and dinners from $7-12. Cold drinks, great authentic Jamaican food, pleasant people. Really great value for the money.

Pressa One Love Restaurant is just across the street from Samsara Cliff Resort. We enjoyed our breakfast there. Its outdoors and very basic but quite good.

My husband and I just loved this place! We were also staying at Samsara as others have mentioned..These people are just the salt of the earth...We ate dinner there and also breakfast and both were delicious..we learned more about Jamaican food there in a few visits then we did in Jamaica all week...Eva even brought out an ackee and showed us how its prepared..Also, brought us a bit of ackee and saltfish...The people were so warm and inviting...it is a must!!!! No matter where we stay next year..we WILL be going back there!! Oh, and they are not open on Sunday as they go to church that day..

If you have to have 'All Inclusive' you miss the great food at Pressa One Love. Across the street from the Samsara Hotel is a great family restaurant with delicious Jamaican food prepared with love and served with pride by the owners Pressa and Eva. We learned a lot about our food and how to eat certain types of fruits. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner and each time the food was phenomenal. Try the curried lobster and jerk chicken, the best. We can't want to go back.
