My husband and I stayed in the Sagi cottage at the end of April, having stayed at Rondel for the first part of our week.CFS is truly beautiful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was great, and the porch areas are bigger than they appear in pictures. The view is fantastic, and we had to laugh when people would come to Rick's to watch a sunset that we could see from our very own porch :) Our only complaint ( and it wasn't a huge deal) was not having air conditioning. It wasn't unbearable, but very uncomfortable. One night there was no breeze, and that made it a little hard to fall asleep. Any later in the season and it would have been rough. The Sagi cottage is closest to the water and you really can't beat the view! The bar was under construction when we were there, but they really worked pretty quietly and it wasn't an issue for us. The bar is right next to Sagi, so now that's it's open, I don't know if privacy would be an issue or not.
The grounds are truly amazing! Tons of photo ops all over the property. Our favorite day there was spent swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. There is a table with an umbrella on one of the sun decks that is right next to a chair to lay out in. We got out there that day around 8:00 to claim it. We even ate luch right there- Leroy's jerk from across the street. It was delicious and very convenient. We also had a great meal at LTU. Xtabi was very good but EXTREMELY slow service. I think they were short handed that night. Also tried 3 Dives, and Serious Chicken and they were both very good! Stopped at Pirate's Cave for a drink one day- really a fun place. One day we walked to the lighthouse and were blown away by the gorgeous view from the top! It's about a 10 min walk. I think it opens at 10:00.
All in all, our trip to CFS was even better than we had expected! The vibe at the cliffs is really cool, and we enjoyed splitting our time there, and the beach. You just can't go wrong with the Sagi cottage (except in the summer w/ no A/C) or CFS!
