The cliffs on the West End is such a quaint but very inviting atmosphere. The people are friendly and dining on the cliffs at night is truly romantic.

An afternoon / early evening walk of the West End Road can be a wonderful experience.
It's best to start before 3 to head toward a sunset viewing destination, thus beatiing the heavy
pre-sunset traffic. The views are excellent and there are a number of stops for a view and a
refreshment as you amble along. The Push-cart - good food and drink -great view. Rick's -
everyone has to go once - but the bus loads make it a bit hectic. LTU - same view with a more
relaxed atmosphere and good food, drinks & view. A meal on the way back at 3 Dives makes a
good day better - it's like being at a picnic grounds with full service - beats serving yourself. If
you have the legs, time and desire an all day walk is a grin. We started at 10am and made a
day of it. When the road kind of became a path along the cliff and the paved road went inland
it was time to head back - thankfully there is never more than 10-20 minutes between places
you can find a chilled beverage of your choice. Take time from lounging and give it a go - I'm
not a gambler but I would consider betting most will enjoy the stroll.
Regarding the exciting in the title - as any who walk in JA know - PAY attention, the drivers do
but the non-local walkers seem to look about a bit and sometimes your feet follow your eyes
so be careful and enjoy.
