Get away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach and check out the West End. Much more laid back. Great restaurants like Erica's, Sips n Bites, De Bar & Grill, Xtabi (for a bit more $) and of course the legendary 3 Dives. Visit the lighthouse, jump from the cliffs, snorkel the reefs, shop the locals, and catch a sunset. Rick's is touristy and can attract some outside hustlers, taxis honk at you if you walk, and there are no sidewalks. But still, I am really gald I called this area home for my visit.

Traveled to the cliffs on a tour and loved every minute. There's nothing like watching a sunset while having dinner on the cliffs.

We loved the cliffs. We viewed them from the catermaran a couple of times and watched the young local kids dive and also took a trip to Ricks cafe that is well worth the visit. You catch the most amazing sunset, true bliss!! The diving is great and you are not hounded too much for tips either. There were many people jumping off the cliff, but we were not brave enough!!! Fabulous place that must be visited if you are travelling to Negril!!

Everyone needs to jump off them at least once while they are there. It was an amazing feeling as you dive into the beautiful blue water.

I am so afraid of heights but the charm of the West end cliffs keeps me coming back. We have stayed at the Caves several times, Moondance cliffs, Samsara, and been to alot of the local establishments ( 3 dives, Xtabi, Ricks, etc) I get light headed and shaky knees when walking near the edge but looking out at one of the amazing sunsets is so worth it. Ive seen dolphins at play in these waters and its almost magical.
