Sandy Haven Resort was better than expected. We wanted a boutique hotel in Negril that was very comfortable, and this hotel was exactly it. The staff was very attentive and met all our needs. The breakfast in the morning that was included in our rate was subpar (fruit, toast and coffee). The restaurant at this hotel apparently really good, we heard from other guests they loved it but we didn't end up trying it. We rented a car so we were comfortably able to park it at the hotel lot every night. The beach is very very nice! White sand and clear water! The beach does get shady at night with all types of characters selling you drugs and other services, but all together this area seemed safe to us. Out of our 4 nights here, 2 days we had no water pressure intermittently. We were told this was a Negril-wide issue. The flush on our toilet did not work sometimes, we had to have maintenance come in and take a look. The beds/room other than that was very comfortable. Other than these small annoyances, this was a solid hotel that offers solid value for the price. One can relax here and enjoy the beach.
