“You can't go to Jamaica and not eat here!”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

You can not go to Jamaica and not eat here. This is a local as it gets. You can even catch your own fish and take it to them to cook for you. And they are just so nice - we fell in love with Starry. Every day we would walk over to chat and hang out with Starry, he became our best friend on our trip. We even bought one of their shirts because we just loved them so much.
We ate the Lobster and my God it was so good. I am salivating right now just thinking about it. If you want really good food, for reasonable, negotiable prices and some of the best company the beach has to offer - then Office of Nature is where you need to visit!

“An "Interesting" Place!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Well, it's not really a "Place" - it's a tree on the beach with a bar built around it. Next to it is an open-air fire pit with large grills and several pots cooking goodies. They serve fresh lobster (as in retrieved from the lobster pot in the sea just before grilling). I had a great steamed lion fish (whole fish - $15) and some beer. Nice place for lunch - rustic - cash only (US or JA).

“Office Of Nature – Good Lobster!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

The Office of Nature is located on Bloody Bay about a 15 minute stroll from Clubhotel RIU Negril. Although it is only about a five minute walk from the RIU Tropical Palace.
We paid a couple of visits here during our two week stay at the Clubhotel RIU and was a good bar to visit for a change of scenery from the hotel. Bottles of Red Stripe are a very reasonable $250 JMD and served ice cold! We tried the lobster too on one of our visits and it is cooked there in front of you whilst sipping your Red Stripe. The lobster was fresh – only caught that morning and tasted absolutely delicious.
Big Robert who owns the bar can also arrange to book trips for you too which work out cheaper than booking through your tour operator. He quoted us $70USD per person for a trip for two of us to visit Mayfield Falls – although we had already booked our trip.
