Each time we went to eat here there was no need to have food listed on the little board because they were out of what we wanted each time. Not sure why items would be on the board when they were already out of it.

We were a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but decided to give them a try. We asked for the prices upfront just to be on the safe side. We sat on the porch and enjoyed our breakfast.

$1200 Jamaica Dollars
(2) Saltfish & Beans
(2) Carrot Juices
(1) Side of Dumplings with Aunt Jemima Syrup

Group of five stopped in for breakfast. We ordered five ackee and saltfish with fruit juice and our bill was $5600JM. Not knowing better we paid and left a $400JM tip. On the second visit we had dinner, just two of us this time ordering a brown stew fish, curry goat, carrot juice and fruit punch, this time again no receipt it was $1800JM and we left $200JM tip. After visiting another restaurant were we ordered 4 ackee and four juice our bill was less than $2000JM. At this time we realized we were ripped off. So to prove it we visited once again ordered ackee for two with two juice bill was $1400JM. I asked the price for the meal eventually and was told $450. On my first first after pouring my juice there was a roach in my glass. Being from Jamaican parents never thought I would we ripped off like this big time. If u visit this place ask for a menu or price n a receipt. The worst part is the owner was in on the scam too.

Great food and wonderful people made for an unforgetable weekday lunch. Five of us each ordered something different from the blackboard menu and no one was disappointed. The chicken was moist and flavorful and probably our favorite item. however everything was fantastic. Being we arrived mid-afternoon during the week, we were the only patrons but even if we had to wait for a table it would have been worth every minute. We were staying at BGN and our meal at Sweet Spot was by far better than anything we ate at the resort.
