“Presley is one great chef!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

Presley takes your order, catches all your food fresh for you, and spends all day cooking your meal. His vegetables are some of the best I've had anywhere in Negril. He makes you his friend and remembers you each year you return. We've been visiting Presley every year for 8 years and we call him friend. The only drawback is Presley is a little high compared to other restaurants but his food is worth it!

“Amazing food!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Get a taxi here as it is slighty out and its easier than walking from the beach! You go the day before and tell them what you would like, there is no set menu. We heard Presley's was famous for lobster, so we ordered one each. It came with rice and beans and also callaloo, plus a garlic sauce. Oh wow, it was the best callaloo and rice and beans we had eaten anywhere! There was so much flavour to it, it was amazing. It was our first time having lobster and it was lovely. The garlic sauce that came with it was also lovely! We had one and a half lobsters each, so really he gave us three between us. We had heard Presley comes out and talks to the guest, he did not do this for us, maybe he does it more in the evenings or he was busy. Overall amazing food, no view or anything but it does not matter.

“WOW!”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

We love Presley! His restaurant is great. There are only a few tables in the place, but man, can Presley cook. We came here twice during our three night stay in Negril. First night we had lobster. Absolutely delicious! And HUGE portions. The next night we ate at Presley's we had curry shrimp. Again -- mouthwatering and HUGE portions! This place is a real experience. We had great food and got to chat with the chef real time. It was so much fun and one of the highlights of our entire trip.

If you are thinking of Presley's be sure to call ahead and book your table. When you call, you need to tell Presley what you'd like to have for dinner. Both the lobster and shrimp are outstanding, but I think my favorite was the lobster. His entrees are served with greens and rice & beans. It's definitely plenty of food. Presley prepares everything for you on the spot -- nothing sits under heat lights or anything -- so it can take a bit for the food to come out.

This is a great place and reasonably priced for the experience. Both nights we dined here (with alcohol) for about $75 to 90 each night. Well worth it in our opinion. We will be going back to Presley's next time we are in Negril!

“Perfect Chef/Perfect Food”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We went because of trip adviser, but we also went because we like good food. We introduced ourselves to Presley and he was friendly and helpful. He suggested different types of fish and together we planned a menu. Our delight at the meal is difficult to describe. The food was scrumptious. You only get drinks and an entree, but the portions are so large it was worth it. Very authentic no frills, perfect.

“Jamaican Love On A Plate”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Presley is a maestro in the kitchen.

Nestled in amongst the shops on the main drag of Negril, Presley's Bar and Grill is a charming and unassuming looking eatery. Reservations are required as Presley cooks your meal to your specifications and desires.

Only using what is fresh and locally available, Presley combines his ingredients into a symphony of Jamaican flavor - balanced, deep and complex.

If you had a Jamaican grandmother who loved you very much, this is the food she would serve you. Beautiful, beautiful food!
