Such a wonderful stay at Home Sweet Home,by far one of the most enjoyable vacations I've had in Negril. Nice intimate property. The personal attention was wonderful the staff was by far one of the best in Negril,if not the best. The view is spectacular. Had a wonderful ten days and will definitely return. Charlie you are gold and so is your staff !

Room Tip: I suggest the new suite # 16 definitely

We took our 7 & 9 year old kids here for a week of sun, fun, cultural exposure, natural beauty, amazing gluten free Jamaican food, and respectful people.
Charlie, the owner, and his staff(family) are extremely friendly and accommodating.
The location is the best in Negril. Our kids walked everywhere with us. We walk to town daily, the beach, nightly dinners at 3 Dives or Jacko & Jenny's or Chicken Lavish. Lance's corner store is
1"block" away.
Home Sweet Home has the best breakfasts with the best coffee and the most Amazing views! The cliffs are perfect for diving and fishing and crab spying. The kids were never
bored and Jamaicans went out of their way to be friendly and
respectful to the kids. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This is definitely a hidden jewel. Charlie and his staff were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and just made my wife and I feel at home. The views from the cliffs were spectacular and the price was very reasonable. It was a smaller resort which was wonderful because it fit our goal of a nice, relaxing, quiet vacation in the sun. Richard and Tracy were excellent bartenders and servers. Chris, the taxi driver was very friendly and ensured we were picked up at the airport with no delay and delivered to the airport with plenty of time before our flight. The housekeeping staff was great. The cook was wonderful and the menu was perfect for our short getaway. Definitely would stay here again if we make it back to Jamaica!

Room Tip: Not a bad room in the place, all with great views of the ocean.

We stayed here for six amazing nights in February and were fortunate enough to stay in two rooms, one being the Penthouse suite which has the most beautiful views you could ask for(I highly recommend this room!)Snorkeling off of the cliffs in the morning was such a lovely daily activity, and views of the sunset are breathtaking.

The rooms are basic, but VERY clean and comfortable and have everything you need---unless you plan on staying in your room and watching movies all day---in which case why are in you in Negril? IMHO. All of the rooms have Wifi, however, which does keep you connected if you want to be. The atmosphere at HSH is very laid back but with excellent service! If you need anything at all there is always someone there to happily assist you.
I cannot say enough about the ENTIRE staff at Home Sweet Home. Everyone greeted us with a smile. Charlie( the owner) is so incredibly personable and kind. Tina is always present and there to help. The staff at the restaurant also must be mentioned as they were instrumental in assisting my now fiance' with his proposal!! Kim and Daisya thank you for being so thoughtful and caring!!! We were happy to share our special moment with you! ( and no we have not set a date yet) :-)

For those looking to stay here, I wouldn't recommend it to individuals looking for an ultra modern place with all the bells and whistles that you might find in an all inclusive type resort... that just isn't what HSH is. On the other hand, if you want to relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of Negril, experience Jamaican culture and meet some amazing people than HSH might just be the perfect place for you!

We loved it and will definitely be coming back!!!

Much Love!!

Room Tip: Just get the Penthouse Suite. The view alone is worth every penny!

We spent a relaxing week here the middle of February this year. The rooms are simple, but clean. The view from the cliffs from our balcony was fabulous. The owner, Charlie, and his staff made our stay so pleasant. Tina, the office manager was excellent at arranging any extras we wanted (from the rental fridge in our room, to a couple of hours snorkeling with Vincent and crew on his glass-bottom boat, to massages on our balcony, to cab rides to the airport).
Finding a good place to eat proved no stress, as the restaurant at the resort was decent, and the variety of places to eat along the road ranged from delicious curried goat with rice and peas for $3.50 a plate, to more luxurious cliff-side dining with fresh King fish for $35 per person.
This place would be tricky with little ones, but for a couple who want to kick back for a week, a lovely spot to land.

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! I loved waking up to a panoramic view of both the cliffs, the mountains and the beach! We stayed in room 14 which has a double wide porch, kitchenette and loft. We enjoyed drinking coffee while watching the ocean change color right from our own porch. The staff do an excellent job. The rooms and grounds are always very clean and pretty. Tina and Demo are always around to help you with anything you need. The maids leave fresh petals on the clean towels every day, it's sweet, as are they! The food at the restaurant is very good and it's nice to listen to the acoustic reggae that's performed there most evenings. I can't say how much I enjoyed the snorkeling!! Every morning the sea is very calm and crystal clear! There are fish everywhere! And the most amazingly diverse species of coral gathered there! We had a wonderful time and plan to return next year!
