I am still coming down from the high that was my wedding at Tensing Pen! Everything about this hotel, staff, food, and overall vibes are beyond. My only regret was that we couldn't stay there longer!

First, the staff. The staff is amazing! I want to give a special thank you to both Crystal and Harian, who went above and beyond making sure my wedding went as planned. I can't even count how many emails, last minute changes, and phone calls were exchanged between myself and these two women for the past year of planning! But they handled everything with so much care to detail and never made me feel like I was bothering them, even though I am sure I did! And overall, the whole staff was amazing. From the bartender to the waiters, everyone was just so welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. OH! And their amazing Rhodesian Ridgeback, Beezy, was like your personal escort and walking buddy on the property. We all fell in love with this lovely dog! At night Beezy was known to walk you to your cottage. Or you would find her relaxing on your patio any time of the day. I hope they can find another companion for her soon!

Second, the property. I can't imagine a better place to takeover for the weekend. Every room on this property is unique and there are so many places on the property to relax and explore. My party booked all of the rooms for the weekend, so it was just fun to be able to visit everyone all over the property or meet for breakfast in the morning. Jumping off the bridge was definitely a favorite for everyone. My husband and I booked Rock Cottage 2 for ourselves. The room was really comfortable and spacious for the two of us and had an amazing view in the morning. All the guests loved their rooms, but I think the favorites were definitely the Red Birch Cottages and Cove Cottage. Cove Cottage is a quaint room for a couple, but has the best view on the property and our friends said they fell asleep to waves every night (love!). The Red Birch cottages were my personal favorite. We booked all 3 cottages for my bridesmaids. I would love to book this again, if/when we return with a group. It has a full kitchen and amazing outdoor living room attached that was great to lounge in with friends.

Third, the wedding. I am so glad I had my wedding here! For any future brides thinking about this location, do it! Everything about our wedding was perfect. The ceremony on the cliffside landing was so beautiful. And the restaurant and pool area was perfect for the cocktail hour and reception. The wedding coordinators did a good job of helping you plan everything with their vendors and keeping things organized. As with everything, just keep asking questions and for clarification, since most of your communication will be over phone or email if you are not in Jamaica. Their team also was great in accommodating with last minute changes and helping me plan a group excursion and shuttles for my guests. All our guests keep telling us how amazing our wedding weekend was, and I really owe it to Tensing Pen's staff for helping us carry it out!

Last, but not least, the food! The food is awesome! Everything was really fresh and everything is made to order! We ate at the restaurant for most of our stay at Tensing Pen. The jerk lobster is a must! The breakfast included with your stay is pretty light: cereal, breakfast pastries, toast, fruit, which is all you really need. But the hot breakfast you can order off the menu for an additional charge is affordable and the banana pancakes were a hit for everyone who had them. We did a custom, traditional Jamaican buffet for our wedding and everything was delicious!

I really can't wait to go back to Tensing Pen! Next year can't come soon enough!
