“Chillin Mon...”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Food and bev prices like home. Worth seeing and chilling once. Bring your suit, sunglasses and hat - and take a dive off the gorgeous cliffs into pristine waters! Enjoy a Red Stripe and the sunset. Lovely waitstaff who are well trained - THANK YOU, PUMPKIN! Best waitress award goes to YOU!

“Fun Attraction”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

We came in on boat and had a driver pick us up and take us back to our resort but this is a fun place to hang out. The locals are a little annoying asking for money all the time but if you just ignore them, they don't bother you too much. Food was okay, nothing great and the drinks were average like what you get at applebees here in the states. Beautiful are as well and crystal clear water!

“see the sunset here before you die”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

I'd heard so much about this place that I avoided it for years, thinking it was all hype. But then I went and had an awesome time. Watching one of the most beautiful sunsets, accompanied by live music was simply magical.

This really is something to do/see that should be on everyone's bucket list. Then pop down the road, for a romantic dinner at the Rock House.

“Lives up to the hype.”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Living in Jamaica, I hear about a lot of places that are supposedly 'the best' and 'don't miss it'. Most are rather disappointing after all of the talk, but Rick's Cafe lived up to the hype and was incredible. I would not miss this if you are visiting Negril. Get there before the boats full of tourists show up in the late afternoon/early evening, so you can have the cliff jumping to yourself. Stay for the sunset because yes, it is epic. And ignore all of the men down at the bottom of the cliff telling you to swim into the cave and then tip them. They don't work at Rick's and are just there to hustle, as with almost every place in Jamaica. You don't owe them a thing. Other than that minor annoyance, Rick's is an awesome experience. Oh, and the beers are way overpriced, you can get a Red Stripe for 90J in a store in Negril, if you're on a budget and don't want to spent the 390J at Rick's.
