Great service, very clean, food is excellent, the beach is beautiful and safe. It is a private beach, the water is beautiful and calm. The rooms are very nice and elevated in a beautiful jungle nature and very private. If you need to relax, THAT IS THE PLACE TO BE! Very personalized service where everybody knows your name! An 1h30 drive from Montego Bay airport with a beautiful view on the way. Very safe drive. You can drink water no problem. Once again, this is a place for RELAXATION!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms in the 400 or the 500

Everything was just amazing.. the room, the beach and its incredible sunset , the bar in the pool, the food, the shower and obviously this amazing staff who make you feel totally relax during your stay (nothing is too much for them). Thank you to Andrew for his amazing morning omelettes, O'Shane for his incredible service abd his dirty bananas and Chantae for makung us feel so welcome. By far the best holiday we ever had.

I watch TripAdvisor despite the controversies about its postings as you can usually tell who's real and who's not. We've just booked for our third trip there in Feb12 - we always go in winter when it's really nasty over in the UK! The first year we went the place was overrun with Italians, which is fine if you're in Italy but when you're on holiday outside their country is pretty painful. Now it seems to be mainly Canadians, a few US people and even fewer Brits - but there's no problem, everyone mixes in. And it's a small hotel, so you can do what you want to do. Don't come here for nightlife, which is very low key (but can be interesting!) - it's laidback and a total relaxation sort of thing. The staff are wonderful if you take time to talk to them. We just love it here - I had a hard time convincing my husband that Europe really wasn't the best thing since sliced bread, that it was pretty civilised (apart from mosquitoes), that Jamaica did actually have Sky TV and proper food... and I won! We've been to St Lucia (beautiful) and to Antigua (also good, but the staff tend to be uninterested) - Jamaica gets my vote every time!!

We have just returned from our brilliant holiday at Sunset At The Palms, the setting, the beach and the staff were fantastic. The night time entertainment is low key but my children (aged 23, 21 and 17 had a great time, mainly thanks to the bar staff who had a great sence of humour ! hi Rory and Elroy. Melissa organised our wedding, everything was perfect, the setting on the beach was lovelly, we even booked one of the beach bands to play after the ceremony, i asked them the previous day and they turned up on time and were great. Thankyou everyone for making our holiday so memorable we cant wait to return x

We stayed at Sunset at the Palms for our friend's wedding week. The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Food was good but kind of limited to the buffet dining most nights. My only disappointment is that the property is not on the beach and the beach gates are locked at sun down. I think this is done for safety... If you do not mind not being on the beach this is a perfect place. The wedding was beautiful and was held on the beach! The resort set-up a special dinner for us the night of the wedding which made it very memorable! The rooms are cozy and very clean! Overall, Perfect resort and made many great memories.

We stayed at Sunset at the Plams last easter with our 2 children ages 8 and 6. Although this is not a 5 star hotel on paper it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The atmposphere and service is second to non as is the value for money.

We stayed in interconnecting rooms which were well decorated and had 2 lovely balconies for us to sit on and view the jungle.
The food was excellent and varied much better than the usual buffet fare.

We almost did not book because it isn't on the beach but this isn't a problem at all. the walk to the beach is accross a road but there is someone to help you cross and it takes no more than 5 mins.

We were there over Easter and the staff arranged a whole bunch of fun activities for the kids from Easter Egg hunts to bun eating competitions!

I never go back anywhere twice but we might have to go back here - my children will never forgive me if we dont.

Simply excellent!

This resort was amazing if you are looking for a nice relaxing get away with your love one you cannot come to a far better place.

The cabin type rooms were amazing sitting out on the day bed lounging was great. We went in August during hurricane season but the rain did not bother us. It would only rain for half hour during the afternoon but when it clear the sun would come back out again.

What everyone say about the resort and staff is so true everyone is super friendly if you love people and like getting a smile everyday you come to the right place. The stuff will always great you with a great big one. You will not walk by someone without they saying hello and a big smile on there face. Opal who work at the snack bar always with a smile you see her she will be sure to make your day.

Rory, the beach security watcher is amazing as well him with his stories and crazy life will sure bring you light as well.

Kirk the bartender is one of the best and if you visit him make sure you have a bob marley on me. He'll make sure you mash you up! Tell him Sally sent one your way :)

Had a fabulous time and if I were to go again I will definately come back. If you are a couple and honeymooner this is surely the resort for you!

If I was to go again I don't mind staying here.
