This was nice but many beach vendors bothering you to buy stuff from them everywhere you go. Wanted to just walk the beach

“Best Beach and Sites”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

We travelled up and down the beach every day to enjoy the local culture and take advantage of the fresh local food and drinks at the smaller establishments. Lobster pizzas and Red Stripes were a treat!

“Where did the sand go?”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

This was my 3rd trip to Negril. For me, the highlight of the trips was being able to walk along 7 mile beach, interact with the locals and other tourists and relax. That was far more challenging this time as a great deal of the beach in some locations has been washed away. It had been easy to walk without getting wet, but now, the only way to go end to end is to do a little wading.
Having said that, there are still long stretches of walkable beachfront. I'll go back because it is just too nice to miss.

“I took a short walk on the beach”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

I stayed across the street from 7 Mile Beach and entered through the property of Hedonism ll, I only walked two properties and turned around and went back to my hotel. I don't know what the beach is like further along, but I preferred the beach I was on.

NB: Punta Cana has 32 miles of beach

“A big busy beach”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We stopped here as part of a day trip from Ocho Rios. The beach appeared clean and the sea was calm and crystal clear. Only bad point are all of the beach vendors constantly trying to sell you things, but they do move on with a firm no thanks.
