Owner description: Pirates once haunted this seven-mile stretch of golden sand beach, now ruled by pleasure-seeking beach bums and sun-worshipers.

The sand is white and powdered and so easy to walk on and walk along! There was absolutely nothing in the water to be afraid of...despite a little something/maybe a teensy crab that got a little nibble on my toe on the last day...but regardless, the beach was so nice!

Great beach: soft white sand, clear water, and you can walk for ever. Good way to check out other hotels. Quite a few bars and shopping along the way.

Beach is what you expect from the Caribbean -- clear, calm water; fine white sand; and sunny skies! If you can get past the "musicians" begging for tips and the men walking buy selling cigarettes/cigars/marijuana (just learn to tune them out), it's a very nice beach.

Well apparently it ain't seven miles long... but it's at least 4 and I'm not going to argue the toss about what the exact length is.
But the sand is so soft and stunning and the sea is simply devine. Incredibly clean and clear and most days completely calm. You just can't go wrong on this lovely coastline. All of the buildings are low and the views are beautiful.

We did the 7 mile walk on several occassions which gave us the chance to check out all the places on the beach. Its a fun walk and we enjoyed interacting with the friendly locals.
