“Beautiful”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

One of the nicest beaches we've been on. Clean, pristine and lots of local flare. Be prepared to be approached by local venders, musicians that's what makes this place so Jamaican. Just politely say no and they'll leave you alone. Love it! Some of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen too!

“Beautiful Beach - Busy w/Vendors”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

7 mile beach is in and of itself lovely and serene and the water is perfect. The unending bevy of vendors and hawkers however can become a bit much at times. You must know straight away not to engage in conversations the ganga dealers, glass boat captains, and cooked lobsters dealers etc etc etc. A quick "no thanks I'm good" will usually suffice with the majority of hawkers. Don't get me wrong they come in handy if you are hungry or need some fresh squeezed juice it's just you can't easily get in a peaceful walk. Early mornings and late afternoons offer respite. Also please note that most of these vendors respect the privacy of hotel property so you can call them over from your lounge chair and get what you need.

“White Sands and Beautiful Blue Water”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We were on Negril Seven Mile Beach for 12 days! We love walking in the surf and swimming in the beautiful blue water. Water is warm and so clear. While walking along, you can stop and visit the vendors, stop and have a cold drink at many of the beach restaurants. If you are lucky, you might see a stingray swimming near the beach!

“Boardwalk Village & Beach Whites”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

We visited the Boardwalk Village on 7 Mile Beach because we heard that the beach vendors werent so aggressive here and there were beach loungers avail to the public. The beach here is absolutely lovely, if a bit noisy--the vendors may ask but back off if you decline-- There is great beach music on sound system--and nice bar--Have yourself a Red Stripe or Rum Punch---and a swim. In the Village there is a COOL little shop called Beach WHites--You guessed it, everything is white--But here's the kicker- they feature Jamaican designers who design beachwear, dresses, shorts, shirts, skirts, all in various cotton fabrics. The place is pricer that your tee shirt shop--but the designs are really beautiful and practical--A nice one shouldered short white sundress in beautiful white cotton was @$65. But it was very unique--The young owner is very nice and is very willing to have something made to your measurements while you are Jamaica. Check it out!!!
