“Best authentic breakfast in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012 via mobile

We stayed in negril for 4 days and wanted to have authentic Jamaican breakfast because after all we are Jamaicans visiting Jamaica and wanted real 'yard' food. From the moment we arrived in negril, we asked for the best place to get a good breakfast and everyone told us sweet spice. They didn't disappoint at all. The price is excellent and omg the portion size is huge. I ordered the ackee and salt fish and it came with calaloo, fried dumplings, boiled dumpling, banana and yam. My other half had liver and he got it with the same extras as mine. It was so much food we looked at the waitress then each other and busted out laughing at the amount of food in front of us. We shared and omg we ate our plates clean..unbelievable I didn't think it was possible but it was sooo good. Needless to say we were full for the rest of the day and only ate fruits and drink water after. We went there for breakfast the next day but knew better how to order and share. We also went for dinner. Dinner was just ok, but fish tea was the best I've had in a long time. Definitely worth it for breakfast and it's much cheaper than the resort price and small portion.

“Got have me some Sweet Spice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

We were introduced to this place by our Jamaican friend. We have been eating here for 10yrs and always come back. Sit down and dine or order to take back to your hotel. Good portions and reasonably priced. Located on your way out of Negril going towards Negril Golf Course. Only unfortunate experience I ever had was last year when their credit card machine wasn't working...had no cash so dining that day. No Problem...we'll be back there again easily.
