3 dives is not a place to go if you're expecting waiters with gloves or tables with fancy linens. However, if you want great Jerk chicken and a view of the sunset that can not be beat, you MUST make a point of stopping here. It is in the West End of Negril, on the road to Rick's (a seriously overpriced tourist trap in my opinion). You are likely to have the same person take your order, cook your food and take your money. We are talking serious no frills here. But the food is worth it. On a recent trip to Negril, I stopped in twice. Had grilled fish once (had jerk chicken for lunch, not knowing we were stopping here for dinner) and the jerk chicken the other time. both were good, but the chicken is great.
On Tuesdays, there is music. No charge.

The bestttt jerk chicken! The jerk sauce had a great kick to it and the little bottle of pepper concentrate helped spice it up even further. My mouth was basically on fire but it was so good! Recommend. Recommend. Recommend. Oh, but just to note- it doesn't accept credit cards yet so make sure you bring cash.

The sunset's are amazing, the menu board is AWESOME and the Curry OMGOODNESS. Litte, the owner and his partner Paula are so sweet and pleasant and have an amazing and
funfilled restaurant at 3 Dives Jerk Center!! I am very picky when it comes to curry and Lobster. OMGoodness the lobster is grilled on the Barbeque and with garlic butter. You don't get just one tail you get a tail split and another 1/2 - cooked to perfection. I have travelled all over the world and this is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to dine in Negril and all of Jamaica. There is NO RUSH. It's very laid back and right on the cliff's to watch the eversome perfect sunsets! The atmosphere with the bonfire burning nightly and the reggae music playing in the background is what I come to 3 Dives for. Great Food, Great View and Great People.
The Curry Chicken is to die for. And don't EVER think about walking away hungry!! NOT at 3 Dives. The plates are so filled the rice is falling off the edges. The callaloo an island vegetable dish is cooked to perfection and if you haven't tried the festivals OMGOODNESS - these are little mini French rolls as I call them Jamaican style, deep fried and are they ever a delightful treat on the palate! The fried plantain is yummy as well. You know this is a Fantastic place when the island people eat here on a regular basis. You will not find blended drinks but you can get red stripe, Ting, Appleton rum and coke and drinks of this nature. The Curry goat is also a delightful experience and the Fish of the Day Steamed, grilled, escovitched or jerked is caught fresh daily and prepared minutes before you eat it.
Everything on the menu is prepared to order so please don't complain when it takes 20-25 minutes to get your dinner, it is well worth the wait!! Just go walk down by the bonfire, watch the sunset and have another red stipe! The lobster is the best in the world and if you are a lobster lover - you will be back I guarantee at least two times before you leave Negril. 3 Dives has a big music festival on the cliffs coming up the 22nd of March and OH HOW I WISH I COULD BE THERE. It is going to be an amazing fun filled show and time! Glen Washington one of Jamaica's finest Reggae artists will be performing and this is a day/evening event so go, relax and enjoy the majick of the 3 Dives Restaurant and tel Paula and Litte Nikii sent you!!
Watch their face's light up!!
