If I could give this six starts, I would. I review a lot of things and this is one of my most favorite reviews to write because we were completely satisfied. When going to Jamaica, it is easy to be concerned about safety so you are rightly encouraged to stick to an excursion. At the Falmouth cruise terminal, all the buses are waiting for all the crowds, but we went with Phil Lafayetter tours. We had our own deluxe passenger van for our group of 8, totally safe and no crowds! Tammy, Phil's daughter, was our tour guide and she sang to us, told jokes, gave us history and culture, answered questions, had us sample local fruit and jerk chicken and took us to the stops of our choice. She obviously had connections at each stop so we didn't have to wait in lines. We went to the White River tubing, something we have done twice before but wanted to share with the kids and loved it. We did the falls and it was so crowded that it was unsafe, but Tammy waited while we did it again, on our own and much safer this time. It was so fun not to worry about what the rest of the bus had to do, we were on our own schedule. She took us to Scotchies, a local restaurant with ambiance and great food. She just asked us what we wanted and we did it. And on top of this, she was friendly and unassuming, we felt very safe and not pushed into anything, so comfortable. I am shocked that we were able to get Phil Lafayette tours and that they aren't sold out. If you are going on an excursion because you are on a cruise ship or you are staying at a resort, you should absolutely sign up with Phil Lafayette tours. I don't know Phil, but I now know Tammy, and I would request her again. My kids were wishing Tammy could have taken us around our next 3 cruise ship stops too!! We miss you! Arie!
