“Decent stop for a cruise”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We visited this beach during a cruise, because it was close to the cruise ship. It is clean and people dont harass you. There are places to buy drinks and food. We had just come from 7 mile beach in the Cayaman Islands which is far more beautiful. If you are here for the day, it serves the purpose, but if you are on a lengthy stay, there are better beaches that can be reached via taxi.

“Cool Blue Hole”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Thanks to Lindsey, our driver of SNL Tours for the suggestion. Remote, no crowds and better than Dunn's River. Got to climb, swim through caves and run down waterfalls. Best tour of the vacation.

“fun times”

Beach was great. Crystal clear waters. Snorkeling is possible everywhere. Sailing is best in the morning with more wind that is manageable.

“Big Clean Beach and Water... full of tourists”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

This is a nice clean beach with safe waters and good watersports facilities. The entry fee is just JA$200 if you are visiting the area, which is very reasonable. However, it is main beach that several hotels and apartment complexes back onto, so it is full of tourists on sun loungers which gives it a bit of a non-descript vibe, where you could be anywhere. When they are in town, the huge cruise ships moor right in front of the beach too, so the view is not always the most picturesque. There are places to sit, buy drinks and food, showers, changing and rest rooms on offer, which are clean.
