Island Village has been designed to give the feel of authentic Jamaica, with lush planting and a river that so clear you can see fish swimming through it. Inside the shops are made in a wooden style with verandas and walkways connecting them all together, which makes it very pretty looking. There is a combination of clothes, perfume, sunglasses, jewellery and souvenior shops, nestled amongst food and drink shops. The cinema has two for one nights on Mondays and Tuesdays, otherwise it is $600 per person to watch a movie. Look out for Devon House i-Scream for the best Jamaican ice-cream and Margaritaville for (touristy and over priced) American food like burgers, fries and drinks and fun on the water slide and beach area. Margaritaville also has crazy club nights if you want something more geared towards adult entertainment, but you will have to use the side entrance (through the carpark) to enter Island Village, as they lock off the main entrance in the evening. Reggae Explosion is also there which has events sometimes. If you venture further down the road you will find other shopping plazas craft markets that offer many more ways to splash the cash!
