The food at this restaurant was good, but not astoundingly good considering that it was one of the most expensive meals we had during our trip to Jamaica. While the attempt to create a menu that creates a fusion between traditional jamaican cuisine and haute cuisine was a good one. The result was that neither form of cooking was really done justice. Bamboo Blu's location, which allows for dinning on a large deck right on the beach, was the best part of the experience. Hearing the waves lap at the shore while a musician played some acoustic reggae tunes definitely made the price of the meal a bit easier to swallow (no pun intended).
