“Dunn River Falls and River Tubing”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

What a fantastic day - as other reviews have said, Natalie and Vivian are wonderful hosts. They picked the four of us up from the ship - not quite sure where to find them at first but we just asked a port official and he rang them to say we were there. Minutes later we were in the mini bus and on our way to the Falls - about a 5 mins drive. As we were the only ones on the bus we were able to use it as a 'changing room' and left all our belongings there.(lockers are available for hire at the Falls) The Falls are well worth a visit but you do get totally wet so take a change of clothes and travel light. Water shoes are a must - you can hire them there but I bought a pair for £5.00 before I left the UK and found they came in handy for the river tubing too. Well worth combining your visit with river tubing - so relaxing but exciting at the same time. Half way down there is a stop off to buy a beer\soft drink - no pressure at all but we were more than happy to take advantage of such an unusual 'pub'. Our guide started singing Bob Marley songs and we naturally joined in. Between visits we were taken for lunch to an Asian\Caribbean restaurant - lovely food served buffet style in lovely surroundings. Natalie and Vivian looked after us all day - as other reviews have said, the stall holders at the Falls can by pushy but we got none of that as Natalie just walked us through. I would fully recommend Moby Dick tours - one of the best days we had on our Caribbean visit. Excellent value for money (95 dollars each which included lunch, and a visit to the shops as well) The only money we spent was on the beers and a few well deserved tips. Will certainly use Moby Dick again if we go back to the Caribbean - tried to book them for a swim with the stingrays in Antigua but they were fully booked which says it all.

“Memorable (!) but long drive & more challenging than expected”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

My 40-something partner and I could have done this hike up the waterfall by ourselves with no problems; however, my 70-something father, older sister, and niece had a hard go of it. The footing can be challenging, and some of the rocks are quite sharp. My dad really banged up the front of his shin. But we all made it (we are a tenacious and adventuresome lot), and it will make for a good family story for years to come! Be prepared to get completely wet and to become close buddies with the people around you. Hundreds of people are going up the falls at once. By itself, it is a beautiful and interesting waterfall, but it was hard to appreciate that while being part of a climbing human chain. Think Disneyland and water slide park rolled into one! All that being said, it was a memorable, chaotic, and surreal kind of experience. The bus ride was way too long and not all that scenic or interesting, but that's no fault of the tour company. After providing us with some local history, our guide turned on Bob Marley for the remainder of the ride, which we quite enjoyed. I was initially worried about finding our guides after we got off the cruise ship. It took a bit of asking along the way and some walking, but they were there in the parking lot after we made our way past all the port shops. Have faith! Also, the lunch option was quite worth it. Ignore the "amercian" fare and go straight for the local jerk chicken and veggies!

We had already booked the Cayman Island tour with Moby Dick and then found out they offered another tour in Jamaica. What a blast we had! We were with a group of 12 and Vivian and Natalie took great care of us all day from the water falls, tubing, lunch and shopping...they literally watched over us all day. They explained many cultural things to us as well as history of the area.
Moby Dick Tours are very good at what they do!

I can not say enough about Vivian and Natasha. We taken the Dunn's Fall tour on April 18th with them and was the only two on the tour that day. We were treated like royality. They couldn't do enough for us. Taken us shopping before the falls and after. anything thing we wanted to do buy they made sure they taken us to the best shops. We didn't have to deal with the pushy sales at the falls or at any of the shops. They are excellent people to have for a tour. Hopefully we will go back and book another tour with them.. Thanks so much Vivian and Natasha...

“Great tour!”
Reviewed May 15, 2012

We toured Dunns River Falls with Moby Dick because it was so highly reviewed in Grand Cayman and they specifically said that they would avoid the preditor merchants at the top of the falls. They did this marvelously and we were not harrassed at all while some of our fellow cruise mates on other tours were tricked and harrassed into buying trinkets they did not want. They also took us to a restaurant/old plantation called the ruins with all you can eat buffet (with amazing jerk chicken) and all you can drink Red Stripe. The restaurant was beautiful. I completely recommend Moby Dick and Vivian the guide.
