A must-do! You get picked up in a the super cool Zion Bus that is covered with photos and facts all about Bob and his life. Our tour guide was hilairous, high-energy, but also very informative. We listened to great tunes all the way up to Nine Mile, the birth and resting spot of Bob Marley. The trip up there is wild......you travel on a one lane wide road, and I use the word road losely, with traffice going both ways! The driver uses his horn to warn on-coming traffic at blind corners and I must say it is a little nerve racking at first but once you settle in, it just becomes part of the adventure and you tune out the honking! Our guide told us horns are better than breaks!!! LOL Once you arrive at Nine Mile, your host or guide entertains you, tells you stories about Bob, takes you to the house he grew up in and the resting place of him and his mother. It is a great tour and his resting place is filled with peace and tranquility, but there is also lots of great laughs along the way too. This was my second favorite excurision we did, second only to Dolphin Cove. Go have fun, learn a bit of Jamacian history and reggae culture. You will love it. The tour includes a patty stop on the way up and a great lunch on the way down, definitely worth the price!
