Owner description: Get up close and personal with the Chukka White River Valley location, offering stunning natural beauty and historic landmarks. The clarity of the water at White River Valley and the consistency of the river flow make it stand out above other locations on the island. The limestone bedrock filters the river’s water so it remains crystal clear even when there’s flooding. Located in St. Mary, Jamaica, this location is home to beautiful wildlife and an extensive history. With the exciting zipline adventure and thrilling river tubing journey this location is the perfect piece of paradise when paired with the Blue Hole experience!

“Tubing the White River”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The White River was a nice cool refreshing break from a very hot day. The tubes have a plywood bottom in them, so no worries of 'fetching up' on the rocks. There were some areas that the guides expertly guided us through that were light rapids. It was a great relaxing way to enjoy crystal clear river, the forest and one place where you could jump off a rope and swing over the river, which was a pleasant surprise. We would normally give this an excellent or outstanding rating, however, at the end of the river, where it opens up to the ocean, about the last 1/4 mile, there was quite a bit of garbage floating around. The operators of the tubing tour should really take the time and get that cleaned up, as we could clearly see the disgust on everyone's face when we encountered that. If not for that, it would have been a perfect tubing experience.

“With a Splash.”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

We got picked up at our hotel by the company that do the trip Chukka. Took about half an hour to get there through narrow steep roads frighting !! though fun. When we first got there we used the restrooms to change then we had our helmets fitted then back on the bus in our bathing costumes and helmets what a sight. up more winding roads were we got dropped off . A crise ship was in town the day we went up there as they only in town a short time they got first priority so we had to wait awhile no problem we had a man doing rope swings off a bridge to amuse us.When it was time we were given life jackets thwen had to fall backwards into the tubes which did have a bottom. The hardest part was catching hold of person next to you you had to hold on to each others tubes. The water was cold though refreshing we had two very good guides there was about 16 in our party. We went slowly as a group then one by one over the rapids which was fun. The bits i did not like is when you are apart you drift to the edge were you could see massive spiders webs i had a few freaks i must say. Overall a good trip. Enjoyed expensive though and everyone expects tips. Give it a go though great fun
