Laughing waters was one of the most gorgeous spots in Jamaica - that is until the government(Parrish or National) cut down some of the trees that overhung on the gorgeous waterfall that flowed down into the Caribbean. Since 2001 I took guest to my villa there until about 2-3 years ago when the trees were cut down. There were also vendors there selling trinkets and ganja and they seem to be scarce to non-existent. I understand that the sale of "smoke" may have been an issue bit to destroy some of the natural habitat to discourage vendors to make it a less desirable location - if that is why they did it - has ruined the aura of the special place. Really, it it not worth the motor gas to go there now - ask instead to have your "captain" to take you to some other secluded beach along the coast.
