Just a wonderful experience! We've played it 3 times so far and we'll do 2 more. We are not staying at the Sandals Resorts where this is an included activity, so we paid $65/round, plus the mandatory $17/person for a caddie, whether walking or carting. We've elected to walk as it's great exercise, the caddie schleps the clubs, and it's not a particularly long course. We loved it. The course is well kept, at least relatively. We also played the Runaway Bay (Jewel Resort) Course, which was not in nearly as nice a shape--mostly crabgrass fairways ($55/person plus caddie). Caddie tip is also the norm. We did $20 each, which was well appreciated. We also learned that a good deal could be had by paying for 3 rounds in advance. The Sandals uses bring players largely in the morning, so a tee time in the late morning/early afternoon worked out well and we were never pushed and rarely waited. the caddies were awesome! They KNOW their greens, and the course, and can size your game up in a couple of holes. Do what they tell you!!

I sent my partner off for a morning of golf and he came back very happy and satisfied. He was raving about how much fun the Caddy was. He said he'd go again!

While not as demanding as other golf courses around the North Coast of Jamaica (White Witch, Tryall, Cinnamon Hill), this 18 hole course is conveniently near Ocho Rios and has a beautiful design, perched on the hills. A pretty club house and impeccable service, both from the staff and from the knowledgeable caddies, add to the experience.

My husband and I stayed at Couples San Souci and one of the inclusions are the greens fee for Sandals (aka Upton) Golf & Country Club. Only the greens fees are included - you still need to pay and tip caddies, purchase drinks or food, and rentals if you didn't bring your own. For people staying at Couples (San Souci or Tower Isle), the shuttles leave at 8:15am and return at 1:30pm, so you have time to hit a small bucket before starting your round. It's a really nice course, very forgiving, and not too long. Walking is fine but it is pretty hilly. The caddies were fantastic help, especially in reading the greens and of course, carrying your bag - thank you to Tony and Buddy! The greens are tiny, so the longest putt you'll have is ~20ft and they are very slow if they've had any rain within 2 days. They also provide a storage service if you're golfing more than once for your clubs and shoes, which is very handy. We thoroughly enjoyed golfing here and would definitely go back!

We played 18 holes here with a couple of friends and really enjoyed it.

The course is beautiful and quite forgiving. I hit a couple spectacular slices and still lost only one ball for the round.

We got through our round in about three and a half hours and were only held up once for a few minutes.

Our caddies (Tiger (Really) and Buddy) were great. Just the right amount of helpful without becoming a pain.

Rent a cart as the one cart one caddy will be almost the same money as no cart two caddies when you consider caddy fees and tips. The course wouldn't be a bad walk if you really felt like walking though.

We had a few drinks after our round and found the club house to be very nice and the drinks reasonably priced with friendly service.

A great place to enjoy a round in paradise.
