“very expensive for what you get”

We did the bobsled, zip line, and sky ride. The bobsled was a lot of fun, but the ride doesn't last very long. Same can be said for the zip line. The ride to the top on the chair lift was pleasant and the view was great! But all in all if I had know what the return for our money was going to be we probably would have passed.

“Bobsled Ride”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

The DVD and Photos are very overpriced. Out of the section taken by the photographer only a small selection actual showed us. There were several photos the same but in four different frames as we moved along. July 2013 Again very overpriced by Travel Company. Good attraction better to be organised independently. Bobsled ride was great but short.

“Bobsledding is a must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

At Mystic Mountain, my favorite attraction was the bobsledding. It was about a 2-3 minute ride, and a about a 3 minute slow ride back up the mountain. The speed is very fast, but it's just so fun and great. No drops, just very sharp turns. There is a camera that takes a picture at one point, and pictures are available to buy for $12 each.

Bobsledding was incredible! Best attraction at Mystic Mountain!

“Fun fun fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

After being here last year we were back for more fun. This time we did the Tranopy tour (US$135 per person walk up price, yep this doesn't come cheap!), which includes the chair lift, one bobsled ride and the zip line experience.

But we sure had fun! The guides make the zipline experience a fun one, somehow managing to work fast but still safe to lead a large group through. At one point you go straight down for 15 feet, scary! But we had a blast.

The bobsled is like a rollercoaster but one that you can do as fast or slow as you want yourself. Too sad though that the ride down is shorter than the haul back up.

The hill station at the end of the chair lift ride has a nice swimming pool with water slide, and a little museum with all Jamaican sports heroes. And the view over Ocho Rios is great. There is also a butterfly and a hummingbird garden. This is a fun place to spend half a day outside of your resort, especially with your significant other.

Two tips:
- Bobsleds can be linked, and you go faster if you have bobsleds hooked up!
- If you do bobsledding and zip lining, do the bobsledding first and ziplining last, otherwise you have to ride the chair lift down and then back up again to the top, which takes a lot of time.
