A trip to Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios, St Ann, could take you towering as much as 700 feet above the rainforest above the picturesque shoreline, affording you a captivating bird's-eye view of the town, cruise-ship pier and turquoise waters as far away as St Mary. If you prefer, you could choose to zip line among the trees or bobsled down the mountain meandering in-between shrubs and trees. The rainforest tour, which is spread over 100 acres of lush lands and rated among the best experiences to have in Jamaica, provides you with an up-close glimpse and thrilling experience in a Jamaican rainforest near the beach. Plus, it gives you the chance to explore your adventurous side on one of four activities, including the SkyExplorer, the Bobsled Ride, the Canopy Zip Line and the unique Mystic Waterslide.

If you've ever been on the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland, this is nearly identical, except you're racing downhill through a rainforest. VERY worth it!

“Not good value for money”

Staff at frontline were very unprofessional , staff at resort were however very good. Needs more attractions than the 2 they have for that cost.

“So much fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

This is expensive: we paid $68/person for only 2 of the attractions here--the sky lift and the bobsled. There are more attractions available including zip lining and a pool. The skylift alone was about $49 and is mandatory--you cannot get to any of the attractions or the mountain view without the skylift. As such, I don't think it is handicapped accessible. The views from the skylift are as georgeous as you would expect. The skylift takes about 20 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. At the top, are all the attractions and a few vendors. The bobsled ride is fun-it allows only one person per sled but if you have a child or want to ride 2 together, they will hook to sleds together. While there are levers you can use to control the speed of your bobsled, they do tell you not to stop on the course--you will most definitely get hit if you do. There is a restaurant atop the mountain. The food was reasonably priced and it tasted fine. Something I found interesting was that the bathrooms do not use water--they compost the human waste and provide hand sanitizer, there also seemed to be little disturbance of the land where the attraction is which I found impressive.

“Awesome!”

We did the skyride, bobsled, waterslide, and ziplining! This was the best part of our entire trip. The guides were amazing. They were funny and really made this an awesome experience.

“What fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

Great staff, and not super-pricey. You take the equiavlent of a ski lift shair up the mountain. The views are amazing, and our photos came out great. Take all your pictures going up - coming back down you are lower in the trees and cannot get the really great panoramic pics. Once at the top there are shops, displays, educational materials, entertainment, food, etc and it all appears to be new-ish and well maintained. Prices are typical of the area. You now have the choice of bobsledding, water sliding, or zip lining for additional entertainment. We chose the bobsled and I have never laughed and squealed so much all at once! Great big fun! Think FREE FALL ROLLER COASTER! We had a great time and would all cheerfully return.
