I visited this bar recently while staying at a nearby hotel.
What a great place! It has a truly authentic feel to it, unlike most of the manufactured places around tourist areas.
As the bar has a beachfront, we were able to travel there by kayak, and leave it on the beach while we enjoyed a few beers and some delicious food.
The beer is Red Stripe, of course, and whilst I'm not a lager fan I do go by the theory of 'when in Rome ..'. The food is interesting, in that there does not appear to be a menu, but the staff just ask you what you would like, then cajole you into ordering whatever they have in!
We had conch fritters and chicken wings with a salad, and they were very good indeed. I am generally a seafood fan, and whilst the conch fritters were very good, I have to confess that that the chicken wings were probably the best I've ever had.
I will definitiely visit here again.
