Having spent a week at their sister resort Sunset at the Palms in Negril, we figured we'd try this hotel before our departure due to its proximity and free transfer to the Montego Bay airport.
Oasis at Sunset is the quieter relative of Sunset Beach Resort & Spa next door, but are essentially one in the same, you can go to and from both resorts as they are connected - only differentiator are the wristband colors. It's a very family and children oriented megaresort, with a pirate-themed water park and constant stream of activities for all ages, it seems impossible to get bored here.
Booked a club room w/ king bed, and the room itself was unremarkable and generic - but after a full day at the beach/in the sun, it was nice to come back to. Also, having spent nearly two weeks in resorts with mosquito nets and spraying OFF! every hour, there were no issues with pests or noise, which was heavenly.
The bathroom was an utter and complete disaster - with gaudy florescent lighting, cheap plastic shower gel/shampoo pumps attached to the wall, and was small enough if you outstretched your arms and spun around, you'd hit something. The only positive is the bathroom has a box of Kleenex so you can safely cry over the injustice of using this prison-inspired crawlspace (and this is coming from someone who has no issue with economy class seats).
There's a ton of options for food, which other reviewers have gone into better detail in. Service was stellar - especially the food and beverage staff, who were pleasant, conversational and on point. Thank you to Paul and Kadesha for impeccable dinner service, and staff at the beach and pool bar for always knowing when to refill my rum punch.
I'm not a fan of megaresorts and super touristy hotels like this, and wouldn't return again as I prefer smaller, more couples-oriented resorts for vacations - but it was a rather positive experience overall - minus a point for the ugliest and smallest bathroom I've seen in recent history.
