Decided to go by here yesterday and see if they had improved since my last visit. The restaurant was lively with several diners there. For sports lovers, the televisions carried varied sports programming.

Ordered the Red Peas Soup which was really tasty. The small dumplings and whole kidney beans in the soup added to my enjoyment.

The fish burgers were good as were the beef burgers. Both came with fries and cole slaw. The Jamaican Rum Punch had just the right kick to it.

Service was prompt and friendly and we are definitely going back.

I was not impressed with this restaurant at all. Initially, we were very excited about it because it was a little more affordable than the other restaurants at Half Moon. About seven of us came in at 7:00 PM. The front desk had told us that we did not need reservations, so we didn't make them. When we arrived, we were informed that we did indeed need reservations even though they did not look very busy. They asked us to come back in 20 minutes, which we did (not a big deal). Once we were seated, the waitress was not very attentive or friendly (very strange for a Half Moon property since everyone else we encountered was amazing). After waiting half an hour, we finally ordered our food, in which we then waited another forty-five minutes for our food to actually show up. There were two other parties that were seated at the same time as us who were long gone before we even got our food. And when we got our food, it was cold. It was clear that our food sat around for a while. We also discovered that a big soccer game had started during the time we arrived. All the servers in the restaurant were distracted watching the game. Not appropriate for the servers to not attend to customers. The food was okay...not anything impressive. If you need to eat in a timely fashion, don't count on this place.

We went to the shops to find most were closed up and of the rest only the gift shop was open because it was a Sunday! So if you're going for the shopping - don't! Anyway since we were there we decided to have lunch at Robbies.

Whitney looked after us very well. We sat outside. Had the shrimp and the ribs with a side of seasoned fries. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back before we leave.

Inside does seem a bit dark and at 75 us it was on the expensive end. But that's what holidays are about!

Having read all of the previous posts about this establishment I have to say we were not impressed. Inside was hot, smelly, tatty torn up seats and lacked any real atmosphere - moved outside to avoid the fishy smell to be greeted by various insects (but to be expected its Jamaica ! ) ...the quality of the food was not great especially at the cost ! ...four people two pizza two starters and it came to over 120 USD

But hey maybe we just got them at the wrong moment..... but I doubt it.

The place had decent food, but the 18% tax plus the water charge gave this place a Phillipe like bill, and this place was not a Phillipe by any means. I have eaten jamaican food in Atlanta that taste better and is cooked faster and cost me 75 dollars less than this place. This restaurant was my biggest disapointment in Jamaica.
