My husband and I stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. On our arrival we received an amazing welcome. We were given lovely bottle of Jamaican rum. We were treated to a champagne breakfast in our room. We booked this on arrival for the next morning. Service was prompt, food was hot and delicious, we had ours on the balcony.
Our room was in the most amazing position, just 100 yards from the beach. We thought at first being pool side and ground floor wouldn't be great but this was ideal, we were on the quiet side of the pool and everything was very accessible.
We enjoyed the daily arrival of the Jerk chicken kart at lunchtime. The fresh fruit kart was also lovely.
I would say take some ones for tips throughout the day, the staff are lovely and very helpful.
The best restaurant was definitely the French restaurant.
Beach towels were provided from the little hut near the swimming pool. Definitely a must to get up early to secure a prime location on the beach.
The time of year we went in we found early morning sunbathing was best as the clouds came over about 3pm.
Worth packing some nice dresses and outfits for dinner for the restaurants that ask for casual elegance.
My husband took some linen trousers and linen long sleeved shirts and some closed tow flip flops and this was perfect. Some people did get turned away in shorts and flipflops.
The shops at the resort were charge to the room but there was a bureau de change for cash.
The rooms had jacuzzis which were great. The beds were the best beds I've ever slept in, soooo comfortable.
We travelled to make things special so we flew Thomson and the premium seating. On the way there from Birmingham we went to the Birmingham lounge which was amazing and so worth it. We would definitely recommend this.
On our return we went to the Montego Bay VIP lounge, this also was worth its weight in gold. It had a separate quiet area which was amazing. We paid the equivalent of £15 each, this was perfect.
The resort overall was beautiful, picturesque, clean and the staff were very friendly. It was amazing and we would definitely go back.
