My husband and I were visiting Montego Bay on days the adventure we really really wanted to go on (Black River and YS Falls) was not available so we settled for two others...and I am glad we did. I am sure that any of these adventure tours would be amazing though. We did the 4X4 Jeep Adventure that took us all over parts of Montego Bay. We went to a point that overlooked MoBay. It was a beautiful site to see, breathtaking. We went through many small towns and villages. We visited a church that was once an old slave hospital. Went off roading (very fun) to some hidden waterfalls and then stopped for some jerk chicken and drinks near a river. The entire trip we saw the beauty of Montego Bay, something you would can not experience from the beach, I actually preferred this to the beach. Everything is so lush and green and just incredibly beautiful. We also had a pretty amazing tour guide, Damon(sp?). He was hysterical and most of all very knowledgeable. He told us all about the plants and the uses for them (besides eating) and all about the history and culture of Jamaica. Besides the beauty of nature surrounding us, he really made this experience an amazing one.

The second tour we went on was the Dune Buggies through the Good Hope Estate. This was good fun and breathtaking as well. If you go on this, plan on getting muddy and soaking wet from head to toe (depending on who drives that is, but it wouldn't be as fun if you didn't). You go through the forest which is just beautiful, there are no words to describe the beauty. It happened to start pouring rain during our tour (like monsoon style rain) and that just added to the fun of this adventure. Again, so much better than just looking at the ocean and sitting on the beach.

We did the Negril day trip from sandals whithouse on 5/7/12. We had 6 couples in our group. Chris our tour guide was very pleasant and shared lots of information about the history of the island. We stopped at Time Square Plaza for shopping for about 30 minutes, make sure to get a jamaican beef patty from the vendor in the middle of the mall - delicious! We then went to the local Jamaican market where there's lots of beautiful hand made art work! On to Margaritaville, then to Sandals Negril for lunch. After lunch we headed to Rick's Cafe to see the high jump divers, listen to live reggae music, great food and finally to look at the beautiful sunset! This was a very enjoyable trip, one of the best we took!!

We signed up for this tour at Sandals Carlyle. The bus needed 12 passengers to run the trip. Six people left from the Carlyle at 8:15 AM and we picked up 8 more people from Sandals Royal Caribbean and Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. Some of these clients were doing the zip line or ATV tours. It was took 45 minutes to arrive at Good Hope Estates in Falmouth. The driver was polite and shared information along the way. There were very clean bathroom facilities at the estate arrival area. Everyone was expedited rather quickly to their respective activities. We had only 6 clients on our house and carriage tour. We met Odette, our tour guide. She quickly learned all of our names. A bus then brought us up to the main plantation house (just a 3 minute ride). Here we toured all areas inside and out. The views of the mountains from the this estate is panoramic. Odette has a amazing wealth of knowledge about the history of the plantation and of Jamaica. She also knows a great deal about the flora and fauna of the area. After about an hour and a half we then boarded a comfortable carriage which brought us around the grounds of this working estate. It now grows coconuts and oranges. We also saw remnants of the sugar plantations days We ate just picked oranges and uglie fruit. They are delicious! Odette took our cameras and ran along side the carriage taking pictures of us and surroundings. She took some very good shots. On our way back to the visitors center we learned a couple of Jamaican songs. The total tour was about 2 1/2 hours. The visitors center has a good gift shop to buy refreshments and gifts. It was just about the best tour we have had in out 3 visits to Jamaica. I highly recommend this tour. The brochure description does not do it justice. The same bus driver brought us back to our hotels in time for a late lunch. If you like historical tours this is one you should not miss.

Best vacation ever! My husband will NOT just sit on a beach so we did 4 tours in our week. The ATV/Falmouth tour was really cool. Just 4 in our group, beautiful scenery, guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the plantation. White witch zipline was next. A must for thrill seekers. those guides swing thru the trees like tarzan. They are hilarious. I wanted to go again. Captain Hulk & his crew on the Raggae cruise went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. And the Go native negril tour was incredible! What can I say about Duncan? He's Mr Jamaica! His stories, songs & knowledge of the history of the island are amazing. He made that day fly by. If you want the best tour get on his bus. I will definitely be looking for him on our next trip

My Husband and I took the Island Cruise at the end of March. It was very romantic. The crew were amazing. They catered to your every need. Of course they gave info about Jamaica. My husband and I have been to Jamaica twice and each time we go we learner more and more about it, which is very interesting. I would recommend this tour. When we return, it will be on our list again. Much praise to the crew for making it so enjoyable.
