“Relaxing and fun”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

Beautiful beach, clean calm waters, some waiters from whom you can order some food or drink and nice reefs for snorkel. It's a bathing club, so you have to pay the entrance and can rent chairs, umbrellas and snorkel equipment.
If you get there early, you'll have a really calm place to relax. Around noon there were much more people, but it didn't spoil it.

“Falmouth Port excursion”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

Our RC cruise ship stopped here and since there really isn't much to do in Falmouth this was a good option for our large family group of 12, ages 10 to 70. It was a 30 minute ride by van/bus which we found right as you walk off the boat and go thru the "fake" town area. Our driver was professional and friendly and made sure to make arrangements with us as to exactly where and what time he would meet us to take all 3 groups back. We actually got there before the other cruise ships that docked in Montego Bay which was nice because we were able to rent chairs and umbrellas and have a place close to the water versus further back. The price to get in was something like $5.00 pp and then you pay additional for the chairs etc. They had servers on the beach where you could order food and drinks. Our service here was good but later four of us went to the on site bar/grill where food was just ok and our service was terrible. It took forever to get our food and one of the meals came long after the others. I didn't see that everyone else was having this issue so may have just been our server. Some of our group took a snorkel trip, some went shopping, others just relaxed so there are plenty of options for the day that you are here. All in all, a beautiful beach and always felt safe.

“Lovely as always”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

This beach hasn't changed much since I was last here over 10 years ago, and that's a good thing. It's clean and the staff are attentive, but not overly attentive. No pack of beach sellers bothering you all day. If you want a little bite to eat there is a "bar & grill" with lite bites and fruity island cocktails. The chairs and umbrellas for rent were in very good condition as well. A lovely stop for the day either vacationing by land or off a ship for the day. Enjoy!

“Beach was beautiful!”

People try to sell you drugs here but other people are very helpful at restaurants and shopping! Wish we had more beach time as we were on an excursion from our ship after Dunns river falls!

“beautiful beach”
Reviewed January 27, 2014

Beautiful beach with soft sand and clear calm blue water. You can rent umbrellas and beach chairs for about 6 dollars each. While we were there on a Friday and Saturday the beach was not crowded.
The servers would come by every hour or so to get drink or food orders. Large drink menu and food menu.
Lifeguards were on duty but much more relaxed than here in the states. Most of the time they were kicking back with buddies.
Beach was very clean! Not a single piece of trash anywhere. There are bathrooms and showers and a woman would was constantly cleaning and mopping the area.
