“DOCTOR'S CAVE BEACH - MUST GO”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We visited Montego Bay in April this year and went for the day to Doctor's Cave Beach. Amazingly clean, clear water for snorkelling and soft white sand. Beautiful

“Nice beach”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Great place to spend the day. Plenty of space available, outdoor showers, restrooms and food available. They do charge for everything so don't expect to be able to bring your own chairs or umbrellas. The beach itself is wide and well maintained. Once in the water if you are not able to swim you won't be able to go out far as there is a sudden drop in depth about 20 feet from shore so you will see a lot of people in the water packed up close to the beach. For this reason I prefer the beaches in Negril. If you are able to swim, the water is clear and calm and there are small pockets of coral close by that you can dive down to. Lifeguards are highly visible and mostly attentive.

“Sun, sand & sea :)”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

Beautiful beach with clean white sand and crystal clear waters. You couldn't ask for a nicer beach to spend your day at, lounging on a sun lounger and enjoying the atmosphere.

The Sand Restaurant is open day & night for you to enjoy your meals whilst also serving cold beverages & cocktails.

Initially, in July it was $500 JA dollars to get in per person then as soon as it hit August, the price went up to $600 JA Dollars per person. bearing in mind that sunloungers are also $500 JA Dollars each it does add up. So you could bring your own raffia mat & spread it down on the sand and just pay for an umbrella instead, as the midday heat is gorgeous but unrelenting for some.
Lovely beach & lovely scenery - what more could you want :)

“Crystal clear waters”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

The water here is crystal clear & so calm you could be in a swimming pool. Perfect for snorkelling. Food & drink available. There are changing rooms, showers etc. if your hotel beach isn't that great then definitely worth a visit. We had a bit of aggro with 4 people offering us "taxi's" back to our resort, I just picked the guy with the ID tag for taxi drivers & said we're going with him, no problem!
You have to pay to get in I think about $6 per adult & chairs & parasols were extra too.
