Our anniversary is Feb 27th and we had a wonderful meal at this restaurant in both 2012, and again, this year. Chef Christopher Ramsey is a wonderful chef who pays attention to detail. The serving staff are top notch and made our visits very enjoyable. We had a table outdoors overlooking the ocean. How great is that?!! We had Lobster Thermidor, garlic mashed potatoes and yummy steamed vegies. Everything was cooked to perfection and we have already put in our request for next year's meal! Thanks to Chef Ramsey and all his staff for making our visits memorable!!

After having many meals in Negril, The Twisted Kilt was the first place we had dinner in Montego Bay. It was a pleasant surprise! Most of the staff were pretty friendly and all of them professional (which isn't always in the case in jamaica). The prices were very decent. I had their house specialty burger (I forgot the actual name) and it was very big and juicy! And for under 15$ if I remember correctly. The ocean view is wonderful and it's walking distance from the places we went to afterwards (margaritaville, local bars and Pier1). Inside we even played darts!

I would definitely recommend it to a friend for dinner.

This is a nice place to sit outside and have a drink and enjoy the ocean view. We did not have anything to eat but it did seem to have a decent menu. They have a cute little gift shop so you can get a Twisted Kilt T-shirt.

Was at the Montego Bay location on 2/27/2013, just last week. I have to say that it was one of poorest examples of a pub type eating establishment I have ever been in. We were led to this place by a tour guide who we are sure is getting a kick back from the place. With other places to eat we were taken there and said to eat here. We had a party of 11 people and were told to wait for tables to open up. There were many tables scattered around the place but for 2 or 4 people only. Finally some tables opened up next to each other that we could get. WE had to remove the dirty dishes ourselves to sit down. The table was never wiped off by anyone. They finally took our order and afer an hour wait we finally got our food which was cold, warm at best and was very poor quality.

Then there were the guys bringing people in there from off the streets sitting them down at tables then telling the waitress staff to take care of them. All of these guys were bumming for tip money and sitting folks themselves instead of restaurant staff doing it. In my opinion the whole management staff should be fired for letting this happen. When confronted the manager said it was a busy day is all.

Very poor at best is what this place should be rated!!

The Twisted Grill is on the water and is a pleasant location for a meal or a drink in the Hip Strip area of Montego Bay. Unfortunately, the Twisted Kilt, like many other establishments in the area, is suffering from decay. The food and service is fine, but overall the Twisted Kilt is run down and does not live up to the potential that its location presents.
